Obituary of Patricia A. Allen

Bedford Patricia A. Allen, 70, of Bedford, died at 9:15 am on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Born July 9, 1942 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Howard and Alma (Fine) Johnson. She was a home health caregiver with Candle Light Service in Oolitic and attended Dive Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Rick Allen of Columbia, MD; five sisters, Judy Nichols of Enid, OK, Brenda Johnson of Bedford, Loretta Milligan of Bishops Head, MD, Carolyn Middletown of Flintstone, MD and Debra Knoll of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, James Johnson of Bedford and Gilbert Johnson of Mitchell; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Richard and Steven Allen; a daughter, Lynn Collins and two children (in infancy); three brothers, Raymond, Russell and Perry Johnson; two sisters, Delores Fish and Dorothy Allen; two great grandchildren. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 19th at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Friday, April 19th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
