Obituary of Delores Hornocker

Bedford, Delores J. Hornocker, 73, of 2017 O street in Bedford, died at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 31st, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on April 27, 1931 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Robert G. and Mary L. (Brock) Richards. She married Harold E. Hornocker on September 21, 1951 and he died on April 16, 1989. She worked at the Bedford Regional Medical Center in admission and was a homemaker. She attended the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi and was part of the Dunn Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving is one daughter: Julanna Hornocker of Bedford; one son: Richard Hornocker and his wife, Doreen of Bedford; two sisters: Betty Jean Wagner and Virginia Concannon both of Bedford; two brothers: John Richards of Mitchell and Jim Richards of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; one sister: Jane Hall; one brother: Glen Richards. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3rd, from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Jon Lineback and Rev. Charles Newman. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2nd, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
