Obituary of Dorris R. Smires

Bedford Dorris R. Smires, 81, of 2884 Mt. Pleasant Road, Bedford, died at 3:27 am on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital. Born September 23, 1922 in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Elmer and Ethel Reed. She had worked at American Honda in New Jersey and Caseys General Store in Oolitic. Survivors include three daughters, Gail Foster of Shippingsburg, PA, Paula Smith-Marlton of New Jersey and Shirlann Harper of Bedford; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Cole of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Buddy Reed. Funeral Information Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 19th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
