Obituary of Belinda Lorene Smale

Bedford Belinda Lorene (Perry) Smale, 48, of 480 Gas Line Road, Bedford, died at 9:36 am on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born January 26, 1964 in Marion, IN, she was the daughter of William and Carolyn (Sowders) Perry. She married David Smale on September 1, 1984 and he survives. She was a graduate of Mitchell High School with the class of 1982. She was the co-owner of Tiffanys Swap Shop in Bedford and had worked at the Breakfast Barn. She loved music, horses and spending time in the sun. Survivors include her husband, David, of Bedford; two sons, Devin Smale and companion, Renee Strange and Bryce Smale of Bedford; her mother, Carolyn Perry of Williams; a granddaughter, Mya Strange; siblings, Tim Perry and wife, Roz of Mitchell, Michele Palmer and companion, Glen Morris of New Mexico, Karen Cooper and companion, Robert Stine of Orleans, Shonda Bakker and husband, Troy of Williams, Michael Bowden and wife, Rosezona, of Corydon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, June 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Farrell Sowder officiating. Burial will follow in the Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
