Obituary of Rosemary Elizabeth Slate

Bedford, Rosemary Elizabeth Slate, 23, of 1429 J Street in Bedford, died at 8:34 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23rd at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born on May 11, 1982 in Bedford, she was the daughter of John Slate and Rosanna McCart. She married Rhett Lewis in February 2004 and he survives. Surviving with the husband, Rhett of Bedford; one daughter: Gwendalyn Crews of Bedford; Father: John Slate and Mother: Rosanna McCart both of Bedford; one sister: Sarah Slate and her fiance, Tristan Hutcherson of Bedford; one brother: Benjamin McQueary of Port Charlotte, FL; paternal grandparents: Jim and Ruth Slate of Bedford; maternal grandmother: Rosemary Quackenbush of Port Charlotte, FL; one nephew: Brayden Hutcherson of Bedford. She was preceded in death by paternal great grandparent: Opal and Mary Sipes; maternal great grandparents: Frank and Rose Quackenbush; one aunt: Judy Slate Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28th, from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pat Blyeth officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
