Obituary of Betty M. Sipes

Bedford- Betty M. Sipes, 83, of Bedford, formerly of 1109 T Street, died at 3:20 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born April 11, 1927 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William and Geneva (Davis) Bailey. She married Jack R. Sipes and he preceded her in death. She was a telephone operator for Indiana Bell and retired in 1984 after 39 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bedford, Indiana Bell Pioneers, and Bell Ladies Luncheon Club . Survivors include; one daughter, Lisa Fountain and husband Duane of Bedford, one sister, Barbara Moore and husband Ervin of Bedford, two grandchildren, Brycen and Alexa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, John David and one daughter, Beverly Elaine, both in infancy. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday, February 21, 2011 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jim Bundy officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. No visitation is scheduled.
