Obituary of Lula Belle Sifers
Bedford Lula Belle Sifers, 87, a resident of White River Lodge, formerly of 1305 K Street, Bedford, died at 9:55 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2005, at White River Lodge.
Born August 23, 1917 in East Oolitic, she was the daughter of Charles Nathaniel and Martha Ellen (Childers) Stevens. She married Lloyd Kenneth Sifers in 1951 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and had attended the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Richard Gene Robbins of Frankfort, IN; two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; four sisters, Geneva Lemons of FL, Ruby Watterson and Violet Henson both of Bedford Mary Winters of Rockville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters. Funeral Information
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8th at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, IN with Rev. Tom Bartley officiating. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
