Obituary of Irma Mae Sears
Bedford Irma Mae Sears, 77, of 1317 10th Street, Bedford, IN, died at 3:41 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 2, 1929 in Tunnelton, she was the daughter of Willis and Rozella (Flinn) Williams. She married Merlin L. Sears on December 18, 1948 and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple.
Surviving with her husband, Merlin are three sons, Michael L. Sears and his wife, Gail, Jeff Sears and his wife, Missy and Timothy Sears all of Bedford; two daughters, Rozella Ritchison and Patricia Sears both of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Misty Wellman of Nashville, TN, Keith Collins of Seymour, Dirk Sears of Indianapolis, Katie Sears of Mitchell, Robert and Alex Goldsberry and Brittany Stovall all of Bedford; three great grandchildren, Grant and Clark Wellman of Nashville, TN and Ryan Collins of Seymour; one sister, Wilma Wisley of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Loniel, Orin, Oscar and Harold Williams; three sisters, Evalou Root, Helen Williams and Oatie Perry. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, February 26th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Steve Goens and Bro. Max Abel officiating. Burial will follow in the Tunnelton Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 25th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
