Obituary of Rebecca Ann Sears

Bedford Rebecca Ann Becky (Ryan) Sears, 58, of 2569 Old State Road 37N, Bedford, died at 4:02 pm on December 9, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital. Born March 20, 1952 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Thomas Junior and Opal Mae (Morrison) Ryan. She married David Sears on December 30, 1972 and he survives. She worked on the assembly line at General Electric. Survivors include her husband David of Bedford, her father, Thomas Junior and his wife Brenda, two sons, Jeremy Sears of Bedford, Juston Sears and wife Rebecca M. of Bedford, six grandchildren; Abbigail, Jacob, Jeremiah, Kyzer, Kalandra, Izabelle Sears all of Bedford, two sisters, Karen S. James of Mitchell, Janice L. Lewis of Bedford, three brothers, Danny Thomas Ryan and wife Jami of Heltonville, Timothy Allen of New Hampshire, Lawrence Edward Ryan and wife Monica of Shoals, one sister-in-law, Clara Noel of Bedford. Becky had a lot of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, one sister, Tammy Jean Ryan Steele and one sister-in-law, Betty Jean Ritchie. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, December 13, 2010 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm 9:00 pm on Sunday, December 12, 2010 and from 9:00 am until the hour of the service on Monday at the mortuary.
