Obituary of Norma M. Schoolcraft
Bedford-Norma M. Schoolcraft, 78, of 1718 N Street passed away at 8:40 P.M. Saturday, November 25th at the Dunn Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 23, 1928 in Morgan County, IN she was the daughter of Nathan Thomas Ward and Ermell M. (Haase) Ward. She was a retired waitress having worked for the Greystone Hotel, Rustic Inn and Jacks in Mitchell. She was a member of the Bedford Eagles and recently awarded the Longest living Eagles Couple. She married Russell Schoolcraft on April 12, 1946 and he survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Russell of Bedford is one son: Thomas Schoolcraft of Bloomington, IN; two daughters: Linda Jones and her husband, Greg of Panama City, FL; Mitzi Flynn and her husband, John of Bedford, IN; eight grandchildren: Todd Roberts, Bret Carmichael, Thomas Schoolcraft, Troy Schoolcraft, Mindy Schuth, Jennifer Flynn, Jesse Flynn and Micah Flynn; eight great grandchildren: Cody, Brandee, Raegan, Larissa, Thomas Lee Jr., Amber, Blake and Shane; 1 sister: Barbara Hardy and her husband, Guy of Bloomington, IN and one niece: Judy Deckard of Spencer, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Glen Duncan and Pastor Chris Stubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, November 27th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from noon until the service hour.
