I'm very saddened by this. When I would visit Jeff at Crane he was always so upbeat and can-do. I always liked visiting him. He made lots of good things happen. He really contributed to the good of the country. I will miss him.

To the Scherschel Family. I've worked with Jeff for years and met him a couple times when he traveled to PA. I liked Jeff as a person and he was the best at his job and I will miss him. Live your life as a tribute to him.

I remember the first day I met Jeff when he came aboard NWSC. I felt a connection immediately because he was a Jeff Scott and I had a son Jeff Scott. I was like a mother figure to him and he would come and talk with me. Later my son came to work with him and he also a graduate from Purdue. Very saddened by your loss. Praying for strength and peace for the family. Jeff was well liked by his coworkers and very good at his job. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
