Obituary of Robert Sandefur

Robert Max Sandefur Robert Max Sandefur, 72, of Bedford, died at 5:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2009 at his residence. Born on January 11, 1937 in Brownstown, IN he was the son of Ray Sandefur and Ethel (Jackson) Sandefur. He married Yvonne Louise Riggs on December 18, 1958 and she preceded him in death on January 18, 2009. Survivors include three daughters, Tracy Elliott and her husband, Doug, Nancy Sherfick and her husband, Dan all of Bedford, Lori Rector and her husband, Lon of Saline City, IN; four grandsons, Logan Rector, Mason Sherfick, Joshua Elliott and Seth Sherfick, one brother, Roy Sandefur and his wife, Shirley and one sister, Alberta Thompson and her husband, Leo all of Seymour, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 17th at the Free Methodist Church with Pastor John Lane, Dr. Donald Riggs, Pastor Dave Colgan and Pastor Lon Rector officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday, February 16th at the Free Methodist Church.
