it's been 5 years since seeing Kathryn, over 20 years since leaving Indiana; but only a couple weeks since I re-told the delightful story of having been included in joyous road trip to Mackinac Island. Memories will continue to make me smile and warm my heart. I especially remember encountering Kathryn one Easter Sunday afternoon; waling in the cemetery. She'd just learned she'd be a Grandmother - oh my, what glow and delight; that grew even larger as did Benjamin and Patrick. What a life to celebrate.

I used to volunteer out a Westview and I got to know Katherine and Jackie very well. She will be missed and was such a sweet, loving lady and was always willing to help where needed. May God bless you during this difficult time and always.

Although it has been several years since I have seen Katherine, I always think of her when the daylilies bloom. Katherine allowed me to dig up several starts of her lilies before she moved out of her house because she had colors that I did not have in my flower garden and she wasn't sure the new owners of the house would appreciate her flowers. I know Katherine was always devoted to Jackie and was so proud her family. She was always talking about her son and grandsons. May she rest in peace.
