Obituary of Marjorie L. Sallee

Bedford, Marjorie L. Sallee, 74, of 1605 19th Street in Bedford, died at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 21st, at her residence. Born on August 21, 1930 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Burl and Beatrice (Johnson) Covey. She married Robert W. Sallee on December 21, 1946 and he survives. She worked for seven years for General Motors and was a self-employed beautician in Bedford. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. Surviving with the husband, Robert of Bedford, is one daughter: Connie Faubion of Bedford; one son: Troy Sallee of Bedford; three grandchildren, Kelly George of Yorktown, VA, Tracy Williams of Bedford and Jay Faubion of Heltonville and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Carolyn Hawkins and one niece: Cherie Coursey. Funeral Information Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 24th, from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Sis. Judy Kern officiating. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, May 23rd, and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
