Obituary of Lovetta J. Russell

Bedford Lovetta J. Russell, 84, of Bedford, died at 8:00 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Indianapolis, IN. Born September 23, 1925, she was the daughter of John M. and Lorene (Franklin) Peyton. She was a registered nurse with Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She married Jack E. Russell and he preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Rebecca L. Nicely, Kathleen Waltman and Irene Newkirk all of Indianapolis and Maria Edwards of Bedford; four sons, Richard E. Russell and Matthew W. Russell, Tim J. Russell all of Indianapolis and John T. Russell of Brownsburg; two brothers, Charles Peyton of St. Louis, MO and Douglas Peyton of Bedford; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral Information A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday. Donations Information The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the White River Humane Society.
