Obituary of Lawrence Richard Romine

Bedford Lawrence Richard (Dick) Romine, 68, of 228 The Woods, Bedford, IN, died at 11:42 am on Tuesday, March 16, 2004. Born August 27, 1935 in Tuscola, IL, he was the son of Paul Nolan and Marie Emma (Tay) Romine. He married Patricia Ann Mallett Edie on March 4, 1972 and she survives. He was an accountant with the Chevrolet Division and General Motors Central Office in Detroit, MI where he was assistant director of appropriations. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Bedford and the Silver Threads. Surviving with his wife, Pat are one sister, Patricia Ann Brindle and her husband, Jerry of Auburn, IN; nieces, Julie Ann Brindle of Auburn, IN and Deborah Lynn Lebo of Rochester, IN; nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Paul Brindle of Auburn, IN, Thomas Patrick Brindle of Savannah, GA, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Richard Brindle of Orlando, FL and Gregory Allen Romine in Indianapolis; children, Kevin Richard Romine of Cleveland, OH, Lorene Cheryl Provost and Jolene Carol Matley both of Novi, MI and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeffrey Paul Romine and one brother, Robert Lee Romine. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, March 19th at the First Christian Church in Bedford with Rev. Robert Dailey officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, IN. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am (Central time) on Saturday, March 20th at Cartwright Cemetery in Tuscola, IL.
