Obituary of Emma Louise Rodman

Bedford Emma Louise Rodman, 89, of Bedford, died at 6:47 am on Monday, February 13, 2006 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born January 16, 1917 in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of William Henry and Betty Louise (Cain) Jacobs. She married Robert Lee Rodman and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Bedford and formerly a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. Survivors include five sons, Robert J. Rodman and his wife, Frances, David E. Rodman and his wife, Cecilia and Carl A. Rodman and his wife, Diana all of Louisville, KY, James Lee Rodman and his wife, Mary Helen of Florida, Edward J. Rodman and his wife, Sherry of Bedford; two daughters, Betty Louise Cascone and her husband, John of Florida, Carol Ann Thrasher and her husband, Marvin of Bedford; one brother, Horace Jacobs and his wife, Lois, of Louisville, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, one sister and three grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, February 17th at the Nunneley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, KY. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 16th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Nunnelley Funeral Home.
