Obituary of Charles W. Beacher

Oolitic Charles W. Beacher, 87, of 808 Lafayette Street, Oolitic, died at 11:05 am on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Mitchell Manor. Born November 13, 1922 in Illinois, IN, he was the son of Jacob and Creola (Houchins) Beacher. He married Bernice Holt and she preceded him in death. He was a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic and enjoyed trading and wheeling and dealing. Survivors include a son, Lambert Beacher and wife, Donna of Mitchell; two grandchildren, Daniel Beacher and Stormi Lynn Reynolds of Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bernice; two brothers, Ed Beacher and Joe Beacher; a sister, Loretta Jackson. Funeral Information Per his wishes, no visitation and services are scheduled.
