Steve, We have been out of town this week, so we were unable to get to the funeral home. Would have liked to have been there to honor Donna because we loved your mom so much. She was always such a joy to be around and we appreciated her smiles. Though we haven't done as much of this lately, she was always the one I wanted to celebrate with when Jeff Gordon won a race. I will think of her when that happens again. Thanks for sharing her with us. Our prayers are with you and if you need anything, let us know.

How do I express the loss I feel? She was my sounding board, my friend, my cousin, the one who had permission to call me by my middle name and someone I loved dearly. I will miss you beyond words but you have reaped your reward. Thanks for all the memories I have of good times together.

Donna gave me an opportunity thirty-four years ago that led to my professional success in life, and it was her faith in God and subsequent trust in me that made my wonderful career possible. For that, and for her enduring friendship we have enjoyed through the years, I shall be forever grateful. She was a good, good woman, and I will miss her very much.
