Obituary of Betty H. Robbins

A very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Bedford-Betty H. Robbins, 75, of Breckenridge Road, Bedford, passed away suddenly at 8:03 A.M. Saturday, November 29th at Bloomington Hospital. Born on July 17, 1928 in Lawrence County, IN she was the daughter of John DePierre and Catherine (Dillman) DePierre. Mrs. Robbins was a homemaker and co-owner of Bedford Limestone Suppliers, Inc. She was a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Omega Nu Tau Epsilon Chapter. She married Robert E. Robbins on May 21, 1949 and he passed away on May 17, 2002. A very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she is survived by: three sons: Daniel J. Robbins and his wife, Carol J.; Dale A. Robbins and his wife, Alice L. and Richard D. Robbins and his wife, Janice N. all of Bedford, IN; one daughter: Denise A. Brock and her husband, Scott D. of Bedford, IN; seven grandchildren: Angela M. Robbins Sutton, Daniel C. Robbins, Jeremy D. Robbins, Lorie M. Emmons, Jamie L. Robbins, Molly K. Brock and Kyle R. Robbins; three great grandchildren: Kathryn D.; Dakoda Scott and Ellie Jo; two brothers: John DePierre and Donnie DePierre both of Colorado; two sisters: Joan Wray of Bedford, IN and Delena Turner of TN. Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one brother: Stephen DePierre. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, December 1st from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
