Obituary of Charles L. Holland

Carmel Charles L. Holland, 66, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Carmel, IN. Born September 1, 1937 in Bedford to Charlie V. Holland and Helen E. (Hodges) Holland, both centurions who preceded him in death. He retired in 1994 after a thirty-three year career in bank regulation with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, U.S. Treasury, attaining the position of senior national bank examiner. He served in the National Guard and held a commercial pilots license and instrument rating. He was a devoted husband, son and dog-lover. He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Emily Holland and one aunt, Fern Holland of Bedford. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, May 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
