Obituary of Evelyn Batman

Bloomington Evelyn Batman, 73, of Golden Living Center, Bloomington, died at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born February 23, 1936 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Theodore and Ada Marie (Daggy) Brewer. She had worked at RCA in Bloomington and attended the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Hewitt of Madison and Rebecca Batman of Bedford; two grandchildren, Melissa Hewitt and Miranda Corbin; one brother, George Brewer; a sister-in-law, Mary Frances Brewer. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Walter Lee Batman, Jr.; three brothers, Donald Eugene, Edward and Gerald Brewer; a grandchild, Jackie Dee Hewitt. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 17th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Burial will follow. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday, April 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
