Obituary of Mary Richardson

Bedford Mary Richardson, 91, of Bedford, died at 11:20 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Bliss House. Born December 8, 1916, she was the daughter of Rev. Clyde and Mabel (Moyer) Black. She married Horace Richardson on April 25, 1937 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bedford.Survivors include two daughters, Jean Montavon and her husband, Bruce of Bedford, Janet Smallwood and her husband, Don, of Delray Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Christy Surgeoner, Dan Smallwood, Beth Schindler, Amy Fuchs, Karen Johnson and Michael Montavon; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Stewart, two sisters and one brother. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Tim Ahlmeyer and Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 13th and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, April 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. View Video Tribute
