Obituary of E. Janice Reynolds

E. Janice Reynolds, 70, of 512 W. 10th Street, Oolitic, died at 10:15 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born April 4, 1937 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Foster Asbell and Doris Chilton Pitman. She married Max Reynolds on April 6, 1956 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2002. She was a graduate of Shawswick High School with the class of 1955. She retired from the Lawrence Co. Treasurers office. She and her husband purchased and operated North End Paint, Paper, Hardware & Toy Store, which evolved into North End Video, Broadview Video and North End Tanning. She was a member of the Oolitic Church of Christ and the Republican Womens Club. She was an avid Republican. Survivors include one son, Bob Reynolds and his wife, Pennie of Bedford; one daughter, Barbara Miller and her husband, Lenny of Oolitic; grandchildren, Jessica Bingham and her husband, John and Kyle Reynolds all of Bedford, Tyson and Craig Miller and his wife, Stephanie all of Oolitic, Kacee Miller of North Carolina; one great granddaughter, Chelsea Bingham of Bedford; one sister, Marilyn Hays of Hopkinsville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Bill Reynolds and one brother, Albert Asbell. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 5th and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday, August 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
