Obituary of Vida Sue Reynolds

Bedford Vida Sue Reynolds, 78, of Bedford, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, IN. Born March 27, 1930, in Fairfax, VA, she was one of thirteen children of Elmer O. and Mayme B. (Barker) Blevins. She married Gail Reynolds and he survives. Sue was a devout Christian, a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include Gail, her husband of 56 years. of Bedford; Their children, Glenda Reynolds, Lori Keith and her husband, Micah, Albert Reynolds and his wife, Violet, Brian Reynolds and his wife, Kim all of Bedford; seven grandchildren; and her loving dog, Heidi; four sisters, Francis Rembert, Lue Sheets (Sues twin) and Lois Elliott all of Virginia and Edie Bibb of North Dakota; one brother, Doug Blevins in Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Shirley, Estella and Darlene; brothers, Kenny and Charlie. Gail and Sue operated the Skyhaven Auction Center, where she ran the snack bar. She enjoyed visiting with the many friends made over several years and sharing in their lives. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, October 3rd at the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastors Danny Goens and Brad Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Williams, IN. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 2nd and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, October 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
