Obituary of Janet Sue Bartley

Bedford Janet Sue Sis Bartley, 73, of Bedford, died at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her residence. Born January 3, 1937, she was the daughter of Glen and Clara K, (Anderson) Bartley. She retired as the secretary for the Englewood Baptist Church where she was a life-long member, church organist and pianist for many years. Survivors include her mother, Clara, of Bedford; two brothers, Harold Bartley and wife, Sandra and Charlie Bob Bartley all of Bedford; one aunt, Mary Smith of Bedford; one niece, Debbie Bartley-Strahl and Jerome Williams of Bedford; one nephew, Michael Bartley and wife, Joyce of Lizton; two great nieces, Allison England and husband, Tim of Bedford, Micaela Bartley of Lizton; a great nephew, Tyler Strahl of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, January 25th at the Englewood Baptist Church in Bedford with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
