Obituary of Norman Miller

Bedford Norman Duke Miller, 77, of Bedford, went to be with the Lord at 9:42 pm on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born October 9, 1933 in Huron, IN, he was the son of Barney and Roxie (King) Miller. He married Diana Marlene Sproles on February 1, 1958 and she survives. He had worked at Carpenter Body Works and retired as a die cast operator for General Motors. He was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church, U.A.W., and a veteran of U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Diana Marlene of Bedford; two sons, Mark Miller and wife, Brenda of Springville and Mick Miller and wife, Katrina of Bedford; a daughter, Lisa Nelson and husband, Dennis of Maryville, TN; three grandsons, Barry and Bo Miller and Jay Tyler Nelson; two granddaughters, Jacinda Phillips and husband, Dana, Ariale Miller and fiance, Eric; a great grandson, Brayden Miller; two sisters, Ishmael Baker and husband, Edgar of Seymour and Sue Beasley and husband, Russell of Mitchell; a brother, Bob Miller and wife, Donna of Mitchell; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Debra Michele; a sister, Jeraldine Bex; four brothers, Lester, Raymond, Orval and Marvin (Pete) Miller. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 16th at the Englewood Baptist Church with Pastor David Ferry and Rev. Lewis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, December 16th at the Englewood Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Dennis Sproles, Barry Miller, Bo Miller, Tyler Nelson, Dennis Nelson, Randy Bex, Donald Miller and Robin Miller.
