Obituary of Gary Michael Brewer

London, KY – Gary Michael Brewer, 68, of London, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Born March 18, 1949 in Laurel Co., KY, he was the son of Bernard and Juanita (Taylor) Brewer. He married Denise Patton. He later married Ellen James. He was a life-long truck driver and owner/operator of Brewer Trucking. He was last employed by Indiana Limestone.

Survivors include a son, Mike Brewer and wife, Rachel, of London, KY; three daughters, Karly Brewer, of Jasper, Kim Jones, of Bloomington and Amy Hendrickson, of London, KY; six grandchildren, Kennedy, Emilee, and Bree Morrow, Jordan Page, Ashley Jones, and Oden Brewer; two great grandchildren, Jaxton Page and Charleigh Jones; three sisters, Bev Clark and husband, Jim, of Bedford, Kathy Lloyd of Terre Haute, Carolyn Oliver and husband, Stacy, of SC; two brothers, Merle Brewer and wife, Brenda, Kirby Brewer and wife, Judy, all of London, KY; his best friend, Ronnie Lloyd, of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents and ex-wife, Ellen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dennis Parsley officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
