Obituary of Peggy R. Kunkle

Peggy R. Kunkle April 19, 1957 – January 27, 2017 Bedford – Peggy R. Kunkle, 59, of Heltonville, died Friday, January 27, 2017 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born April 19, 1957 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clarence “Popeye” and Beula (Hatfield) Kunkle. She was a kitchen supervisor at White River Lodge. She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1975 and attended the Heltonville Methodist Church. Survivors include one sister, Wanda Johnson, of Heltonville; one nephew, Matt Johnson of Martinsville; and one great niece, Lauren Elizabeth Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Barbara Murphy. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with John Lee officiating. A Private burial will be conducted in Gilgal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
