Obituary of Charles T. Hamilton

Bedford Charles T. Hamilton, 93, of Bedford, died at 4:55 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Mitchell Manor. Born March 7, 1916 in Brown Co., IN, he was the son of William and Hattie Frances (Weekley) Hamilton. He married Ruby Cummings in 1939 and she died in 1987. He later married Margie Houston on February 14, 1989 and she survives. He retired after thirty years with Cuneo Press. He attended the Fairlawn United Brethren Church and the Morning Star Church in Kokomo. In 1990 he moved to Bedford and become a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved life, everyone he met, his dog Nicki, and craft wood working. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. Survivors include his wife, Margie of Bedford; one daughter, Peggy Richardson and husband, John of Kokomo, IN; one son, Jim Hamilton and wife, Susan of Florida; three grandchildren, Beth Poznanski, Jamie Hurst and husband, Eddie, Tom Hamilton and wife, Kim; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Ruby; a son, Tom Hamilton; a daughter, Betty Hamilton; brothers, Harry, Herbert and Kenneth Hamilton and a daughter-in-law, Kathi Hamilton. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14th at the Albright Cemetery in Kokomo, IN. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary with a tribute service at 7:00 pm with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating.
