Obituary of Linda C. Johnson

Bedford Linda C. Johnson, of 2475 Williams Road, Bedford, died at 7:35 am on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born March 5, 1941 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Charles L. and Elizabeth Betty (Hill) Sons. She married C. Ed Johnson on September 4, 1959 and he survives. She was a co-owner, along with her husband, of Eds Lawn and Garden until selling the business in 2003. Surviving with her husband, Ed of Bedford is son, Jeff Johnson and Marda of Indianapolis; daughter, Sherri Hampton and husband, Tracy of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Andrew Hampton and Megan of Seattle, WA, Ali Kingen and Brent of Denver, CO, Aaren Hampton of Morgantown, Kelli Fleming and Nate of Brownsburg, Ethan and Molly Johnson both of Indianapolis; a sister, Patti Branaman of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, October 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 30th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
