Obituary of Annabelle Jenkins

Annabelle Jenkins Annabelle Jenkins, 75, of Leatherwood Creek Estates, Bedford, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at her residence. Born April 29, 1934 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Fate and Janie (Pemberton) Pemberton. She married Perry Jenkins on January 20, 1954 and he died January 21, 2009. She was a homemaker and attended the Wesley Chapel Church. Survivors include one son, Christopher Jenkins; one grandson, Jay Eric Jenkins of North Carolina; three great grandchildren, Maxwell Hunter Jenkins, Alexandra Dade Jenkins and Ella Jayne Jenkins; one sister, Evelyn Brewer of Peru, IN and one brother, James Pemberton of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Adina Cooper; one son, Jeffery Scott Jenkins; three brothers, Charles, Dale and Robert Pemberton; two sisters, June Tosti and Edna Eagen. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 13th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hauersperger officiating. Burial will follow in Knott Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
