Obituary of Joan Boone

Bedford Joan Boone, 77, of Bedford, died at 7:27 pm on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born September 12, 1932 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Warnia and Tina (Hamilton) Boone. She had been a dispatcher for the 400 Cab Service for thirty-five years and had operated an answering service in Bedford. She attended the Englewood Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Shirley Watson of Illinois and Joyce McFarlin of Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews; cousins, Bobby Donovan and Wilma Donavan. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Minnie Pearl Capps and Libby Payne; one brother, Paul Capps. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 17th at the Mundell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, September 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
