Obituary of Larry D. Watson

Bedford-Larry Don Watson, 68, of Bedford passed away at 2:10 A.M. on Sunday, October 18th at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born on June 22, 1941 in Bedford, IN he was the son of Noble Watson and Bernice (Ward) Watson. He worked at NWSC Crane for 31 years. He served in the U.S. Army from June 1958 to May 1961. He was stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Surviving is his wife; Judith (Trowbridge) Watson and two daughters Kathy Gilbert and Karen Watson both of Bedford, IN; grandson Matthew Fields of Greenwood, IN; one brother Robert Watson and his wife Ella of Clearwater, FL; two sisters Dorothy Dick of Columbus IN and Carolyn Watson Jones of Bloomington, IN; nieces and nephews Keith Dick and his wife Lillian of Columbus, IN, Steven Dick and wife Brenda of Englewood, FL, Reva Deckard of Springville, IN, Scott Tirey of Mitchell, IN and Cindy Shillingburg of Columbus, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters: Sara Tirey and Linda Watson; one brother Richard Watson. Funeral Information Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 21 in Hayes Cemetery with Pastor Larry Ritter officiating. Military Rites will be accorded by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33.
