Patricia Ann Kruchten, 91, of Bedford, passed away on August 26, 2026, at Stonebridge Health Campus.

Born June 11, 1935, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William and Norma (Hartman) Kruchten. She graduated from Bedford High School with the class of 1953, she was a certified Vet Tech, LPN, and RN. Patricia was an RN at IU Bedford Med Center for over 40 years. She was a member of Red Hat Society, BRMC Red Hat Group, Emeritus of Altrusa, past president of ABWA and was honored as Woman of the Year.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Edington Flynn and cat Myrtle; three great-nieces, Jennifer, Jamie, Sue, and their families and children. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: George Slight, Robert Kruchten, and Helen Slight.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1st, at Day & Carter Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday, at Day & Carter Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, Brenda requests that donations be considered to White River Humane Society, Orange County Humane Society, or Altrusa in c/o Sara Kern 412 Peerless Road, Bedford, Indiana.
