Bedford – Tammy D. Henderson, 53, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Born August 14, 1972, she was the daughter of Gary and Barabara (Haley) Sylvester. She married Dane Henderson in September of 1996, and he survives. Tammy worked at Lincare where she processed insurance, and outside of work she loved visiting the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. She was loved dearly by many friends and family, and she also took incredible care of her husband Dane.

Survivors include her parents Gary and Barbara Sylvester, of Harrodsburg; husband Dane Henderson, of Bedford; Father-in-law Jerry F. Henderson, of Bedford; Aunt and Uncle Deb and Bill Parkes, Uncle Don Sylvester, an Aunt Janett Stapp, Aunt and Uncle Carol and Bob Hoagland; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, August 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day and Carter Mortuary with Matt Hinshaw officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service on Thursday. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends and family may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
