Heltonville-Rowena Todd, 86, of Heltonville, died June 27, 2026, at her residence.

Born July 16, 1939, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Floyd S. and Lena May (Cummings) Johnson. She married William W. (Bill) Todd on September 22, 1956, and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2011. She was a homemaker and a member of Heltonville Christian Church and attended Mount Pleasant Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons: Monty Todd and wife Doris of Heltonville, and Brent Todd of Indianapolis, a daughter-in-law, Kim Todd of Franklin; four grandchildren: Shannon Purdy and husband Troy, Aaron Todd and wife Amanda, Amelia Timmons and husband Brett, and Andrew Todd; seven great grandchildren: Eden and Oliver Purdy, Levi, Luke, and Lily Todd, Brooks and Easton Timmons; two brothers, Charles (Pat) Johnson of Oolitic, and Steve Johnson of Heltonville; sister-in-law Phyllis Johnson of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son in infancy William Joseph Todd, six brothers Robert, Donald, William, Marvin, Walter, and Joseph Johnson, and two sisters, LaDonna Shroeder and Bernice Stultz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Hudelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilgal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30th and from 1:00 pm until the service hour on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
