Bedford – Dawn E. Woods, 67, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, Apil 30, 2026, at IU Health Hospital in Bedford.

Born May 4, 1958, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Donald and Mary Bridges. Dawn married Michael Woods in 1978, and he preceded her in death on September 23, 1994. She worked as a real estate broker at Bruce Storm Real Estate.

She is survived by her children, Kristen Kern and Robert of Palm Bay, Florida, Joshua Woods of Bedford, and Kelly Nikirk of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Ashley Mosqueda, Baleigh Traylor, Clayton Traylor, Aubrey Swearingen, Logan Borden, Landyn Goller, and Ava Goller; two great-grandchildren, Ezra and Charlotte Traylor; her mother, Mary Bridges of Mitchell; Karen Veen of Mitchell, and Melanie Bridges of Oolitic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, and her father.
