Bedford – Timothy David Kirkman, 71, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at his residence.

Born March 5, 1954, in Lawrence County, Indiana, He was the son of Fell David and Iris Elizabeth (Bridwell) Kirkman. He married Cleata Page on June 10, 1973. He worked as a Mill Worker at Indiana Limestone. Timothy was the Head Deacon at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bedford, Indiana. He was an outstanding father, Papaw, and friend to all. He also loved hunting and enjoyed being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Cleata; a son, Jason Kirkman (Michael Scaggs) of Bloomington; daughter Lora Kirkman of Williams; brothers, Terry Kirkman of Springville, Jerry Kirkman (Jamie) of Avoca; grandchildren, Zachary David Kirkman (Demetra) of Springville, Gavin Lee, Jeremiah Lee, and Zanderram Wright, all of Williams; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
