Virginia M. “Jennie” Kellams, 86, Bedford, passed away on November 27, 2025. She was born on October 5, 1939, in Paoli, IN, to parents Elmer and Ethel Longest. Jennie retired after a successful career with Sarah Coventry as a Regional Manager. She loved dancing, decorating, traveling, and her family. Jennie was a member of the Community Chapel Church of Mt. Dora, FL.
Survivors include her Significant Other, Ronnie Prince of Bedford; Her children: Sherri Short of Bedford, IN; Doug (Debra) Kellams of Bedford, IN; Brad (Paula) Kellams of Orleans, IN; Mitzi (Mike) Bowersox of Washington, IN; Jennifer ( Bill) Kline of Bedford, IN; daughter-in-law Brenda Kellams of Mitchell, IN; one sister Wanda (Phil) McIntosh of Paoli, IN; Ronnie (Amanda) Prince of Bedford, IN; Brandon Prince of Bedford, IN; twenty-two grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rod Kellams; two sisters, Patty Chastain and Nancy Manship; and one brother, Elmer Leon Longest.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, with the Funeral service following at 3 p.m. at Day and Carter Mortuary in Bedford, IN.
