Bedford – Sue Cheek, 90, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born December 2, 1934, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (Lewis) Turner. She married Frank Cheek on October 20, 1952, and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2011. Together, they owned and operated Turner’s Grocery in Needmore.

She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Anne Browning and husband, Tim, of Bedford; a granddaughter, Suzi Browning, of Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Chance and Victoria Pointer, both of Spencer; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Timothy Browning and six brothers and sisters.
