Michael Leslie Grissom

Bedford – Michael Leslie Grissom, 67, of Oolitic, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at IU Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born April 20, 1958, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Harley Leslie “Les” and Patricia Lou (George) Grissom. He married Jane Sharr on June 9, 1978, and she survives. He worked as an electrician at RCA and was a member of Oolitic Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jane, of Bedford, a daughter Amanda J. Green and husband, Chris, of Bedford; a son John Grissom, of Oolitic; a grandchild Gavin Green, of Bedford; two nephews, Joey Hicks and wife, Kim, of Bedford, and Brian Skillman and wife, Trish, of Bedford; a niece, Kim Lanham and husband, Matt, of Bedford; a sister in law, Jill Skillman and husband, Stan, of Bedford; a brother in law, Joe Hicks, of Bedford; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Vicky Hicks.
