Darrell Dwayne Price, 85, of Bedford, passed away at 8:34 pm on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Cedar Creek in Bedford.

Born January 24, 1940, in Martin Co., he was the son of Merle and Lela Mae (Taylor) Price. He married Brenda Fender on January 26, 1963, and she survives. He was a journeyman machine repairman for facility maintenance. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1958 to 1961.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda, of Bedford; children, Patty Dalton (Randy), Andrew Price (Jennifer), Amy Prince (Jeff), grandchildren, Lilly Dalton, Teagen Christensen, Elisabeth Clow (Jonny), Nathan Price (Anna), Hannah Price (Grant), Ben Price, Georgia Price, Anya Ingrilli, and Salvatore Ingrilli; great-grandchildren, Elijah Ingrilli, Owen Clow, and two on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Janice Newell, and a granddaughter, Hope A. Price.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Monday, September 29th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Pastor Dave Ferry officiating. Military graveside rites will be accorded by American Legion Gillen Post 33. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, September 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
