Bedford – Mary “Patsy” Stockdale, 88, of Bedford, passed away at 12:46 am on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Majestic Care.

Born September 29, 1936, in Paris, KY, she was the daughter of Justin and Rosa (Campbell) Arrasmith. She married Gerald P. Stockdale on November 18, 1956, and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1997. She had been a cafeteria worker, had worked at Visteon for M & F Vending for many years. She was a member of the Clearview Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen R. Love and husband, Brad; a son, Jerry L. Stockdale; grandchildren, Brock Minton and Jake Minton; great-grandchildren, Jacob Minton and wife, Katie, Justin and Felicity Minton and companion, Cameron Carlisle, Kaitlyn Tegarden and fiancé, Luke Hatcher, McKenzie Baker, Ronny Cook and Elizabeth Minton; 8 great-great grandchildren, Addy, Aliyah, Athea, Jupiter, Chloe, Fynley, Sydney, Kalli, and two on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, J.D. and James Arrasmith and a granddaughter, Kathryn Minton Tucker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rob Lanham officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
