Sheila K. Taylor, 68, of Bedford went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 30, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home.

Born on November 2, 1956, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Warner and Ruth (Eggers) Ross. Sheila married Jerry Taylor on October 11, 1974. She worked at Bedford Medical Center as a clinic administration manager. She was also an active member in the care ministry of the Highland Village Church in Bloomington, IN, along with her husband Jerry.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; their children Brent Taylor and wife Heather, Jamie Baker and husband Wade, Jared Taylor and wife Shanda; grandchildren, Braxton Taylor, Clayton Taylor and wife Ava and daughter Hallie, Addisson Taylor, Jaylen Gillihan, Levi Mitchell, Mason Taylor, Maya Taylor; and one sister, Karen Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Friday, September 5th at the Highland Village Church, at 515 Curry Pike in Bloomington. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary, and from 10:00am until the hour of service time on Friday at Highland Village Church.
