Bedford – Randy Turpin, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 4:20 am on Monday, August 11, 2025, at his residence.

Born July 10, 1947, in Bedford, he was the son of Lloyd and Clara (Strunk) Turpin. He married Diana Lee Elliott and she survives. He retired as an assembly operator for G.E. He loved golf, fishing, woodworking, and spending winters in Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Diana, of Bedford; children, Jason Turpin, of Bloomington, Shelly Chronister and husband, Tracy, of Bedford, Jamie Walls, of Springville, and Bryan Walls and wife, Crystal, of Bedford; a sister, Brenda Canada and husband, Jim, of Bedford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Kyle Turpin; two brothers, Jim and Tom Turpin; a sister, Agnes Vaught.

A celebration of life will be from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 23rd at the Oolitic Community Center, 310 Denson Street, Bedford. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
