Marvin E. Clark Obituary

Bedford – Marvin E. Clark, 88, of Bedford, passed away at 9:30 am on Friday, August 1, 2025, at his residence.


Born September 3, 1936, in Orange Co., he was the son of John and Mary (Cobb) Clark. He married Carol J. Day on November 28, 1964, and she preceded him in death on October 14, 2004. He retired from Ford which later became Visteon and was an avid sports fan. He was a faithful Christian and a member of Hillcrest Christian Church.


Survivors include a son, Kyle Matthew Clark; a brother, Jim Clark; a grandson, Brendan Tolliver; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, seven siblings, Edith Benge, Gerald Clark, John Howard Clark, Lester Clark, Randolph Clark, Clarence Clark and Helen Dininger.


Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 8th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott and Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
