Bedford – Linda Sue Whiteman, 86, of Bedford, passed away at 3:03 pm, on Monday, August 4, 2025, at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.

Born November 25, 1938, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Henry A. and Mary C. (Beasley) Williams. She retired as a teller from Chase Bank (Bedford National) and sold Avon products for many years. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ and loved watching and going to the movies.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and her long-time friend, Vicki Hout. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Scott Whiteman.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 7th at Williams Church of Christ Cemetery with Pastor Rick Leach officiating. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.
