Springville – Raymond D. Strauser, 88, of Springville, passed away at 6:30 am on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Mitchell Manor.

Born February 10, 1937, in Greene Co., he was the son of Wilfred A and Beulah M. (Turpin) Strauser. He married Rosella Hayes on September 13, 1958, and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2022. He was a farmer and a dump truck driver for Crulo Trucking and William Hanna Trucking, retiring in 2002. He attended the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include a sister, Kathryn M. Wilson, of Owensburg; seven nephews and five nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Wilma Burcham; a brother, Eugene Strauser; two brothers-in-law, Jon Le Wilson and Martin Burcham and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Strauser.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 25th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Adam Strauser officiating. Burial will follow in the Owensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
