Larry Dean England, 86, of Springville, passed away at 4:19am of Friday, July 4, 2025, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born February 16, 1939, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Lawrence and Mary (Robertson) England. He married Phyllis Robbins on September 21, 1956, and she survives. Larry was a retired millwright at General Motors. He was a member of the Tunnel Hill Pentecostal Church, Oolitic Trinity Pentecostal Church, and Grace Full Gospel Church. He loved his Lord and Savior. Larry was a devoted family man, a hard worker, and loved building things.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; one son, Michael England and wife Julie of Springville; two grandchildren, Amber England, and Jesse England and wife Veronica; great grandchildren, Ethan and wife Riley, Ryder, Delila and Atlas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Debbie Blackburn, eight brothers and sisters, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day and Carter Mortuary with Pastors Justin Berger, Brent O’Neal and Marty Speer officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8th and from 10:00 am until service on Wednedday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
